tried restarting your computer? I once got this message, after my
computer had been working hard, and probably ran out of memory, after a
restart I didn't get the message again.

I have been trying to set the desktop window size but somehow it doesn't work.
the projector is by default set at 640 by 480...but I want it the projector to view at
800 by 600 ... without asking the user to reset their screen resolution.
wondering what is the lingo script for this...?
