wallpaper

hi, i use basetwallpaper to set the wallpaper from D8, but the xtra just can use bmp(is it?), i try to use jpg..(cau the bmp file size is much much larger then jpg), but fail... so is that any solution for me to use jpg to set wallpaper..i am in D8.pc.. thank ___
