Instead of the talking head taking control of the cursor why don't you
reiterate the step the user has to p
A possible alternative is to use Snapz Pro 2.0.1
to capture excatly what you describe and save it as QT.
You talking head MIAW could then just 'open' this
QT when required to show the user how it is done.

But can this sprite simulate mouse clicks and other mouse functions. So all I have to
do is program the cusor. A simple example would be moving a cursor over a button with
a roll-over behavior attached to it. If I can just control the cursor by moving it
over a button, the roll
Just hide the cursor ( set cursor to 0), and move a sprite around.
