-l .dat file
It depends on the format of the .dat file (.dat is a generic name for a
data file, and can be structured just about any way you want).
If it's text format, you can probably just use the Lingo command
'importFileInto' to bring it in as text.

If i were you, i would convert it in avi or QT format. There is a couple of
excellent freeware utilities do to it : IsoBuster and SmartRipper.
