Here's our latest problem. We've got a CD-ROM project that sends a string
(about 80 values) to a fortran engine (which installs to and runs from
their hard drive) that returns about 100 values.
The client wants to know what it would take to Shock this and put it
online. So, how do we run the
2 - have the results passed back to the server to have it run
server side
since SW cannot directly affect anything locally, this is probably
your best option. SW can definitely interract with ASP, Perl, CGI
PHP applications on the server so if the server can start the app that
would work.
