My program, a mix of Flash and Director runs fantastic on
every computer except one with Windows 2000 installed.
On Windows 2000, the program just keeps getting slower until
it eventually stops. No GPF, no error messages, just a quiet
death that requires the Task Manager to get out of the

make sure you've upgraded to 7.02, and visit the macromedia site to
replace your flash asset xtra. or use the one that comes with d8.
(there is a technote in there about it. look for vector shapes, because
they use the same xtra, and that's where the bug was found, i think.
