I have just read an article about sending email from Director
http://www.director-online.com/accessArticle.cfm?id=477
And it basically says that using the following method is highly unreliable
gotoNetPage("mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]")
Now I don't want to fork out yet again for another xtra for something that
seems so simple so I was wondering what
experiences others have had using gotoNetPage.
I have tried the following on my Pc and Mac and it appears to work fine
gotoNetPage("mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=test&body="Hello Paul")
the only problem being that it launched a browser window on the PC.
Can anyone suggest any other methods or confirm that gotoNetPage is indeed
unusable.
