Thanks for your assistance to my problem.I found it easier to copy the image from QuickTime Picture Viewer, paste it to a new Photoshop file, edit it and then import it to Director. If you try to import it as a bitmap after you copy it from QuickTime yu dont have all the appropriate tools to edit it thow the paint window is quite usefull but not as powerfull as Photoshop.
