Hi!
I know that the topic of different languages character comes out
quite often and this time is my turn.
The general question is: what I need to do to be able to display
Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, etc) and European (Russian,
etc) in both platforms (Macintosh and Windows)?

I browsed the archive and I know that to be able to display
Chinese/Japanese/Korean fonts I need to have the Language kit
installed on my computer. Is this the only way to be able to see
foreign characters?
Is possible to embed all the different fonts on Director so that
everybody in the world regardless his/her language can see text in
their language?

Another point is; even if I install all different Language kit, only
people with the language kit installed can see the text translated
because in my project I need to make use of scrolling text, and I
cannot use the "save bitmap" option.

In conclusion, I need to be able to display all world languages and I
need to find a way to be able to deliver all languages everywhere,
possibly without the obligation from the user to have the right font
installed.

is there someone that can indicate me the right direction or solution??.

Thanks
Teo
