I could solve my problem by simply putting my phone number in my account
settings (« Default identity (?) », « Identité par défaut » in French)
instead of my complete name.

Please verify that the execution rights were properly set for your user
(in terminal : ls -l [appimage path]).
I have set execution rights in terminal with chmod +x [path to appimage]
and I see no problem.
I have also tested by enabling exec right in UI like you did, and I see
no issue.

to open it after checking the box "Allow executing file as a program".
