I am using linphone on an Samsung cell phone with Android 9 installed.
Once Linphone is started it works fine until the phone is set to standby.
I have activated background mode and starting at phone startup in
advanced options.
Both of them doesn't work for me.

Sorry for the belated reply.
Please verify that you have disabled battery saving for Linphone (it
could cause issues with push notifications).
I'm not sure with starting at phone startup.
Please provide us logs if you can, that would help a lot.

Can I just mention that for the last week I have been unable to activatemy
account - every time I put in the mobile number, get a 4 digit number and put
it in - same problem -’SMS activation failed’ no reason given no information -
no-one to ask why - so I ma now giving up on Linphone - sorry!!
I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. I do my best to reply to most
people on the 3 mailing lists. But unfortunately I barely have the time
or the experience to answer to all questions...
