My Win 7 VM seems to have "mostly" settled down. It appears that it needs some time after virtual bootup to establish that the Win 7 instance is "activated". You could google 'windows update troubleshooter' and try microsoft's tool. Microsoft used to save some identifiers from your system such as MAC and hd serial and other hardware id's to tie the license to a machine. What happens if they do that in a VM? Cheers Rick On July 7, 2015 12:00:01 PM E
