i have a client who wants some git training and their corporate
standard is developing on windows with atlassian's "SourceTree"
graphical git client (actually handles both git and mercurial):

  https://www.atlassian.com/software/sourcetree/overview

which is a highly-regarded client but is available for only windows
and mac (there appears to be no plan for a linux client for the
foreseeable future).

if anyone here has experience with this client on mac or windows,
what would be the closest equivalent in terms of graphical linux
clients? i'm just curious as to how close one can come to the
"SourceTree" experience in linux.

  thanks very much.
