Hi
John Nash has discussed his efforts to back up his email from a Windows
Exchange Server to his local Linux computer. This is just part of the email
issues on Linux.

Are you interested in pursuing more email issues, or email as a general topic?
Would you be interested in participating in an ongoing OCLUG group that would
work towards finding useful solutions for email on Linux?
Or, how about a committee with a more specific mandate, or a time-limited
mandate?

This would be a group that would include both experienced developers,
experienced Linux  users and admins, and new users. New users are especially
useful as guinea  pigs to verify that fixes are useful for newer or new-ish
Linux users.

Possible topics:

What clients work pretty well on Linux for "standards-based" servers?
What clients work well for connecting to Windows Exchange Server?
Identify reproducible bugs and file them against their projects.

Advanced topics:

Would specific projects benefit from some experienced developers, documenters,
or testers.
Could we set up a group of people in OCLUG would be interested in helping out
in that way?

All my very best,
Rob
