Mark, I spoke with Heinz, the LVM guy, and he said the older LVM versions of vgscan quits searching after 1 Major number. I'm in the process, as we speak, upgrading the system to 2.4.7. The version of LVM in this version searches all /dev/dasd** devices found. Thanks, Hank -Original
