Hello. The fix 05 has added +# must be linked after kernel +drivers-$(CONFIG_OPROFILE) += arch/s390/oprofile/ into linux-2.5/arch/s390/Makefile I have no such directory 'arch/s390/oprofile'. However i've compiled kernel without problem, at least with my config. But i can't do 'make clean

Save yourself some pain (btdt). Find a linux or unix machine and make an ISO file from that CD, ftp it up to Linux 390, and then mount -t iso9660 -oloop that file. The DB2 CD seems to be full of symbolic links and things that windows can't get right - even samba mounted. Marcy Cortes This mess
