I am having a problem with a possible corrupted rpm. I tried to
uninsta;; and rpm, and it tells be it is not installed to begin with, go
to install, message is that is it installed.

package Some_modulefiles.s390x is already
Did you try the -q and -e without the .s390x.rpm?
Those commands aren't meant to work with the RPM's file name. Just its
logical name (or fully-qualified name with version number, for cases where
multiple versions can coexist).
