I have not yet read the Redbook. But I am less than impressed that I
must now sign up for Redbooks in order to download them. And even
more irritated that if I want to download both the PDF and epub
versions, I must sign up __twice__. Oh well, I guess _somebody_ has
to foot the bill for these. And
You don't have to sign up, just click the link I don't want to provide any
input at this time, but let me download the publication anyway.

OK, I found the bypass and get the book link. My mistake. I was,
perhaps unjustly, shocked by the initial signup screen, which is
new to me.

And is it my imagination, or are Redbook downloads taking ten times longer?

IE has always been slow for downloads. So it is the browser in this case.
I am not sure if you can get Mozilla installed, but that would be a better
option. It is a no cost product. Then you got get DOWNTHEMALL and have a
great way to download multiple PDFs at lightning fast speeds.

We need to migrate all san luns from EMC vmax2 to IBM XIV.
I've been looking for doc on how to configure XIV luns with SLES11.
For example - are multiple zfcp_disk_configure commands required?
How many fcp addresses are dedicated to VM guest?
I am a bit confused about the additional paths.

Hi...
If you are using npiv you can use the following zfcp module parameter:
zfcp.allow_lun_scan=1
This will automatically add the zfcp luns automatically.
All you need is to set the zfcp device online and all luns that are
available through the san will be there dynamically.
Really no need to
One more thing...
When using xiv it is important to utilize all 6 interface modules (if you
have all 6 of them).
Meaning 6 paths to the xiv. 3 from each fabric.
Use at least 2 zfcp devices... 1 from each fabric
