etc..
So from Redhat POV, this is completely normal to see these releases

modify the init processing on the linux side to bring them online

o get this or use it so here
We do use this
install s390utils to get the vmcp command
either
yum isntall s390utils or rpm -Uvh --aid s390utils-1.3.2-2.40.12.s390x
then add
modprobe vmcp to /etc/rc.modules
then just do a vmcp q n to test

The last time I looked at the CA PAM module it is a very basic PAM module
that simply performs a adduser for you to the local passwd file.
you can setup pam.d to use the PAM server to validate login etc... but it
does not that I ever saw do any checks for resources.

I would like to know if anyone has run lmbench on zSeries?
It looks to be platform agnostic using no platform specific code and is

Are there any opinions on this benchmark tool?

I know there are several Java Based Commercial VSAM adapters available (IBI
for one)
Does anyone know of a Opensource VSAM adapter for Redhat 4 on zSeries?
Or is commercial the only route for this?

I can not ping the Gateway either from the SLES9 host
I can ping the SLES9s own IP from SLES9
the /28 is the correct subnet for the host
i have tried re-ipling the SLES9 server and it goes through skipping the

it is still unreachable

Very interested in something similar as well.
We need to be able to Backup at the System level as well as perform
individual file restores of application data.
Is there a package or several packages recommended by the group for this
