Probably is a fairly heavy M$ stock holder! This kind of CIO makes me VERY
nervous ... as most of these hard/fast rules normally topple a company
pretty quickly. Vic, maybe you should be looking for a new pocket of
"cheese".

Thanks for the "heads up" article! As a Linux-390 newbie, it cleared up
alot of questions that I had wrt the new announcement. I am told that this
week during LinuxWorld, IBM had a "Raptor" (z800, I believe) along with
other goodies attached ie. ESS (Shark) [even had the fins! ] installed
I concede that the choice of words "way down" might have been a slight
exaggeration, however, this is what I was told. Anyway, sounds like I
should have been there to see those demos!! Thanks again for the feedback.

3 reasons that you folks have moved to a Mainframe Linux solution? I would
think that
