Try installing all gtk2 related packages like gtk2-devel, libgtk-java.

Hi,
As suggested it could be a problem with the image which you are using. You
need s390x files. If it is working fine on your laptop which is Intel
platform, you might have downloaded incorrect image. Also did try to load
from other source like FTP source?
