That's his VSOP (don't tell anyone, especially Golem, but it's really
just VO). Notice his bling, too. That's 'cause he's not just any
dog, he's O.G. Doggy Dogg, chillin' in his crib.

This is what happens when you start referring to your dogs by their
initials: that is, Golem became "G-Dog" around my parents because
*their* dog, Zoe, knows the names of her doggy friends, like "Parker"
and "Vinnie" and "Golem" and "Ursa," and gets all excited if you
mention them. So you have to speak in code, because Zoe has not yet
made the connection between "The G-Dog" and "Golem." (She probably
will someday; that dog understands about 50 different nouns and
indirect objects. "Give the ball to Leon" is a command that holds no
mystery for Zoe. Ours are, um, not nearly as bright.)

So anyway, "G-Dog," and then I got to playing Grand Theft Auto: San
Andreas, and that somehow turned into a gangsta name, "G-Dogg," and
then that kinda blossomed into "O.G. Doggy Dogg" and then my parents
decided they needed to get him some bling, and, well, there you go.

Anyway, I think I'd better shut up about this on the list before I
get any farther afield. Talk to me privately if you want more silly
photos of dogs.
