Many of you will have noticed this, but if not.... IBM announced a new family of mainframes today, the IBM System z9 109 (z9-109). The z9-109 (machine type 2094) is the first member of this new family and is a 1-way to 54-way system with up to 512GB of memory, 60 LPARs, faster FICON/FCP channels, 2 spare processors, 2 to 8 SAPs, etc. For additional information see:
