I found that the 10 dasd that would show up in the pvscan were CDL format.
The other 2 were not. So I defined a new VG, and LV, on new DASD and
copied the old information over. No since in going forward with 2 disks in
the old format.

LVM trouble
I'm migrating a Linux guest from SLES 8 to SLES 9. I created a new SLES 9
guest and copied the configuration information I needed for the
application. In order to test LVM I've attached all the DASD read-only to
the new SLES 9. But when I do a PVSCAN or LVSCAN it only shows 10 of the
12 volumes
