To be fair, in relation to my comment in my previous post about 64-bit
support, I thought I'd post this which I received in a PwD newsletter...

--- FLEX-ES ALS3 Support ---

IBM is working with Fundamental Software Inc. in the development of the IBM
Architectural Level Set 3 (ALS3) version of the FLEX-ES emulator. This new
version will provide 64-bit support on IA32 in addition to ESCON channel
support. IBM expects to be able to provide a GA date for the emulator by
the end of 2Q02.
The ALS2 version currently available through approved IBM Business Partners
will be upgradable to the ALS3 version.

Note, that's provide a GA *date* by end 2Q02...
