RHEL - Ethernet device not found

Hello, I am getting a error as 'no device found' while configuring the network set up on RHEL 7.0 on z/VM. The command I use was : IFCONFIG enccw0.0.0c00 down I get a message as No such device Found What Do i have to check from VM end to ensure the Network device is recognized ? Any
