I am getting a error as 'no device found' while configuring the network set
up on RHEL 7.0 on z/VM.
The command I use was :
IFCONFIG enccw0.0.0c00 down
I get a message as No such device Found
What Do i have to check from VM end to ensure the Network device is
recognized ?

the exact error message is enccw0.0.0c00: ERROR while getting interface
flags: No such device .
Is there anything to be looked in ?

I was able to automatically configure using znetconf -a
But when I do ifup enccw0.0.0c00
i get
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-enccw0.0.0c00: line 15: unexpected EOF
