We've been running 3 different versions of 2.4-test(N) kernels,
where has equaled 2,4, and 5
version 2.4-test2 just finished running for 2 weeks straight on our BP6
and version 5 has run since installed ok. It was only rebooted for the
newer version.
no real special stuff is needed for compil
Seems 2.4-test kernels incorporate a number of features interesting and
useful to BP6 owners. Looking back at past info on moving to 2.2 from 2.0
systems, there was a certain amount of pain involved, with updated packages
needed eg) ipchains.
