We've been running 3 different versions of 2.4-test(N) kernels, where has equaled 2,4, and 5 version 2.4-test2 just finished running for 2 weeks straight on our BP6 and version 5 has run since installed ok. It was only rebooted for the newer version. no real special stuff is needed for compil
