Is there any indication of how the DSP is controlled? I've implemented the
mixer controls for the M-Audio Fast Track Ultra (8R) devices fro ALSA in
the past. If the DSP on the presonus devices is really done in the box and
the GUI just sends control messages I'm definitely interested

FYI, I have updated the class with some basic structure for adding
different cairo drawing functions. If anyone wants to take a look at the
code and make improvements feel free. I haven't added the fastmeter logic
yet.
