Hi,
try to brush up a bit Minicomputer software synthesizer which is in a
bet shape. I have all sorts of redraw problems with FLTK, seems it
started with FLTK 1.3, does anyone experienced similar things and has
some tips to share? Google gave nothing, seems I am the only one.

Hi,
I have been doing some more work recently on the minicomputer port, and
I have a few questions/ problems:
1. I can't get minicomputer to make any sound. I start the CPU and the
gui up fine, connect them to midi in and audio out in qjackctl, and play
something, and there is no sound. Are t

Hi,
Alsa Modular,
is this one still under development??
Yes, its still maintained, changes are more evolutionary rather then
revolutionary.
Have you checked out Minicomputer?

One part of my income I make as a IPhone developer so let me tell you,
deploying on IPhone/Ipod is pain. Its very likely that your app is
rejected by Apple because of the limited use so you have to deploy on
your own. With the developer account you can only deploy on up to 99
devices and the ap
I really like SpiralSynth Modular, guess its worth to bring it back.
Some time ago I tried and it was not working.
And what is about that TAU physical modeling application, is that
working for someone?

Hello,
I released a new free open source application under GPL3:
contrOSC is a middleware to bridge hardware DAW midicontrollers to OSC
(Open Sound Control) enabled software like PD, CSound or SuperCollider,
so you can easily create patches which communicates with the devices.
The first one is

thanks for the help, going to check out tonight. The software is going
to be a synth/sequencer/visual combo, mainly for live performance. Its
mainly for me but it will be free and open source anyway. The synth is
going to have dynamic wavetables, like the old PPG synthesizers, which

For a new audio application I need to code a JACK client with C++. So
far I did it only with C and have a problem with giving the pointer to
the callback process function, which is a method now. So what is the
best performing solution? Is a delegate function a good idea, being
static and triggering

Check out this syntheditor which is written in Java, a project which
needs developers certainly:

I would suggest to keep that in mind. We have some
good sequencers already for compostion and some are on their way, but I
know only SEQ24 for live action and it still need some work for being
fully practically in concert situation.

Videojack is much more exciting then that. Its about plumbing different
videoprocessing applications together, piping the actual frames like
Jack does with audio. That would be a boost for Linux as a multimedia OS.

I also vote for creating a Jackclient. Together with alsa-seq for Midi
input I could easily create a standalone softwaresynthesizer which can
be connected to Midi and audio soft- and hardware. Its due to be
opensourced and released soon btw
