That was not my experience. I put together a pulseaudio IO module
for Csound using the simple API (pulse/simple.h) in about half an hour.
It seemed much simpler than any alternative. And it seemed to do
everything I needed from it.

a question for one of your OSC gurus out there: is it possible/a good
idea to use OSC for syncing? How good is it for that kind of thing?
So far I have only used it for parameter control, but is there a good
means of using it with timing accuracy?

A simple question: can GPL plugins be loaded into non-free hosts?
This may appear a stupid question, but given the fact that non-free
code can't link to GPL binaries, what is the story with dynamic modules?
