JACK RELEASE 0.98.0
JACK is a low-latency audio server, written primarily for the GNU/Linux
operating system. It can connect a number of different applications to
an audio device, as well as allowing them to share audio between
themselves. Its clients can run in their own processes (ie. as normal

ad-hoc channels for the three venues. additionally, chat ops and
stream relay ops will internally communicate via another channel.
those rooms will be listed on a yet-to-be-written website that will
also list the stream and webca

i hope not! its hard to think of a reason for you to do this. you guys
are already presumably using wine and i would think it much easier to

Yes.

Yes, you lose sample-synchronous guarantees. Also, there *might* be glitches
in the audio output
Hi all,
2 quick questions:
1) A while ago I heard that the JACK plug has been included into the ALSA's default
array of plugs. Also today I found this on the Web (for the asoundrc):
pcm.jackplug {
type plug
slave { pcm "jack" }
}
pcm.jack {
type jack

as you might also have heard, we will have live streams of all talks
and lectures in ogg format for those who can't make it there in person.
