is there an application, that can solve the following problem:
1. run as a server-process
2. load some midi-data in it and create a virtual midi-track with
this data
3. put an instrument on this

see that alsa was only partly shipped on those distributions. The
alsa-tools and alsa-firmware packages were lacking, which renders some

around to answering (if I knew anything about it I would ;-) The way I
see it is that people who test are indispensable to the development
effort.
