It has to be a warm reboot

I have a switch i
My bad, I thought you had made the submission all ready, so never mind.

Just unwrapped my new thinkpad, so I am thinking of ordering the cardbus
interface for my hdsp. Has anyone gotten the cardbus to work with the
digiface box?
As for the pci/digiface system I currently have, it seems that even
with the latest cvs code, I still need to unload/reload the hdsp module
Ok here is some really weird behavior. While playing with some sessions
last night, I ended up loading the HDSP module first, then my ice1712
module. I needed the ice1712 module to set the clock of the Delta1010,
to sync to wordclock, so the 1010ai box would sync to the adat in. And
darned if the
Here is something that may help point the way. I need to load the
module, then unload it, then reload it before aplay or jack can be
started. I even moved the startup script, that sets up alsa, to the
front of the line. Same behaviour. I think aplay and jack both complain
about not being able to c
Well I still cant get any output from this darned digiface box. I am
guessing that being the output peak values seem to be changing when a
diskstream is played back in Ardour, that the card seems to be working.
I tested my adat->audio device using the adat outputs from our mackie
sdr, and they see
Ok so I hit play in Ardour, here is what I got
numid=13,iface=PCM,name='Output Peak',index=1
; type=INTEGER,access=r,values=2,min=0,max=0,step=0
: values=0,0
numid=13,iface=PCM,name='Output Peak',index=1
; type=INTEGER,access=r,values=2,min=0,max=0,step=0
: values=0,0
numid=13,ifa

nope not yet but I will try that.

I have the RME HDSP with a Digiface box. Everything seems to work in
Ardour, but I get no audio output. I have 2 Delta 1010's, with the
1010ai adat boxes. I can record with no problems. When I go to play the
diskstreams back, everything seems to work, but there is no output. I
ran our mackie sdr i
I have been trying to get a pcm_multi setup to use 2 Delta 1010 cards
bound together. A little gdb diging has shown that the configuration
seems to be correct, but there seems to be a bug in the alsa-lib code.
First guess is that it has something to do with the Delta's 10 input and
12 outputs conf
