Drivers for libao, Xine, MPlayer, GStreamer are available in their
respective upstream CVS or SVN servers.
The PortAudio driver is still in the works.

tly, gstreamer sits on top of esound or
directly on OSS/ALSA. In the former case multiple programs may play
audio simultaneously, in the latter case only one at a time.
Gnome still ships with broken, old esound. And that is what I want to
replace.
