++LASH.
It is a real word, short and sweet, with a meaning that is relevant to
its purpose. I rather like it.

Dear list,
I can't believe I am chiming in on this because I know nothing about the
project or the individuals involved. So consider this an outside the
beltway opinion from Joe Sixpack (politics are in the air here) ---
ignore it at your discretion... but LASH says to cut with a whip to
me.
Just to let you know I decided on LASH, which stands for 'LASH Audio
Session Handler'. The recursive 'L' is because I've never felt
particularly bound to linux *cough*hurd*cough*. API, website and
mailing list changes to follow (at some point :)
Cheers all,
Bob

The name LADCCA was always intended to be a working name but even

Hallo,

If you think of jack as a modular synth, then LADCCA would be a Polaroid
:) maybe not eh.
JACK Snaphot?
To take this idea a little further (over the edge): what about
JACK Audio Setup Snapshot or short JACKASS. Any good?
;)

Good point. I have to call Audiality Ady to get a sensible prefix -
but that still seems to be pretty unique.

LASH has all letters but the L on the home row, and the SH is just a
right hard roll movement, so it's still easy to type.
