Hi, I am vey new to Linux but I have been reading up a lot and I have been following this list for quite some time now. This is my first posting to TheList so kindly tell me if I make a mistake or something. My aim is to be a System&Network Admin. specifically on *nix. Now to the question: I have a budget of about Rs.38-40k/-. I am planning to buy two systems: one a m/c which is able to run NT4 & W2K (I know I am going to get a lot of flak for this statement of mine; but guys,I need to know the competition too. Right? :) and the other one any low-end machine(say 486) so that I can have a client too for experimentation. I have been told that I do not need the second m/c by a friend;but I am not so sure.
