Hello
>From Your posting I think that You use dvbd for tuning the frequency.
Dvbd does MAC address changing, that's needed for EOL, but not needed for most of the
other
providers.
You will need something like the old cyberstream login program, that does not change
MAC
address of the DVB card.

Some LNBs are at the edge of being able to switch to highband, because
the 22kHz signal of the card is almost to weak for them. So sometimes
they work, sometimes not.
While with another receiver its no problem. Like you described.
To check if it is really this reason, you could put an 22kHz genera

Hello,

locate it. I have SuSe Linux 7.0, 2.4.3 kernel, 0.9 driver.
It goes like this. Untill yesterday I had one regular LNB on my
satellite antena dish pointed towards Astra. I had 4 Nova's

Da sie so schön preiswert war, hab ich mir letzte Woche eine TechnoTrend
DBV-C Budget PCI zugelegt. Nette Karte. Allerdings wollte ich die natürlich
nicht nur unter Windows benutzen. Ich habe jetzt also die CVS Version
der DVB Treiber (Stand 23.5.01) ausgecheckt, festgestellt, daß die Budget

Hello,
I also had a need of this feature but solved it very pragmatic: I disabled automatic

altogether.
