my problem still exists sending digital sound to an external dd receiver.
Following is a summary of all testing:
Using ALSA drivers I can't find a tool for routing digital stream to combo
jack of SBLive! (orange adapter on back of card). So no dd 5.1 sound gets out
of this connector.
If I

TV. Can this be adjusted somewhere ?

And now i found out that vdr has created a file named /video0/Star_Tr -
which is about 1GB in size - sorry i had not seen this yesterday !

If you really mean parallel, its possible with one card - but thats not time
shifting ;-)
To be honest, if you want to watch the recording a few minutes later, then
at least two DVBs cards are required !
With only one card you can only watch the channel thats actually recording
...

On most of the french channels of CanalSatellite on Astra, the times
displayed in the schedule menu are 2 hours too late. Do you have the same
problem ? The current time (displayed when I change the channel) is correct.
