The problem with the energy is no problem with power supply. It is a problem with the boards. Philips say, it would be better to support the card direkt with energy and not over the PCI-bus. how can i support the card directly. my soldering iron is already hot!! tell me what to do. :))

If you really mean parallel, its possible with one card - but thats not time shifting ;-) To be honest, if you want to watch the recording a few minutes later, then at least two DVBs cards are required ! With only one card you can only watch the channel thats actually recording ... Martin.

On most of the french channels of CanalSatellite on Astra, the times displayed in the schedule menu are 2 hours too late. Do you have the same problem ? The current time (displayed when I change the channel) is correct. I guess that CanalSatellite sends the schedules in local time, and VDR
