I am starting to setup a Video Disk Recorder for my home.
My knowledge of Linux is limited.
I intend to buy the "ATI All-In-Wonder RADEON 32MB DDR (AGP)"
card form my home VDR. It seems to be one of the best currently
available.

well well .. the last two updates of the driver were both around 02:00 in
the morning ... hell what's going on @ convergence ???
Anyway .. did anyone allready test the updated driver and can recommend it

normal process of installing libcss should be:

I had recorded music in the past with dvbaudio. But now it doesn't recording any
longer. dvbaudio makes a file on the harddrive but that's all. The audio output
disapears during "recording". The only change that I made, is to install newer
dvb-drivers, I think.
What could that be

When I try to run a DVD in vdr, vdr tells me that libdvdread could not find a file
named libcss.so.
I compiled the package libcss-0.1.0 but did not get such a file.
What should I do?

DVD player over S/PDIF to an A/V receiver which knows how
to decode DTS and plays DTS CDs (not DVDs):
