hi,

Hello
My primary DVB card is a Siemens DVB-S Rev. 1.3 and it works fine with DVB
and VDR. When I add my new secondary card (Hauppauge WinTV Nova Rev. 1.1) the

error message. I tried debug=3 but nothing appears in syslog.
I have been attempting to receive UK DVB-T broadcasts using the Hauppauge
NOVA-t card. The card is now in stock at retailers in the UK and provides
access to the first useful UK channels using a PC - BBC1, BBC2, BBC Choice,
ITV1, ITV2, Channel 4, Channel 5 plus others. These are all

Excuse me, but I need to know if my CPU
(Duron 750MHz) is too slow for play live
video.
Can someone test:
ts2pes 165 100 /dev/ost/dvr|mplayer

(Linux top utility shows 40-50%
CPU-usage, but I think it can be false)
and tell me if video is OK (or there are

Hi,
some days ago, I watched TV on my Linux box using the dvb driver.
Suddendly, the machine completely crashed. I rebooted it and tried

Also, MAKEDEV creates /dev/video* with MAJOR 81.
DVB/ost/src/video.c defines :

Hi,
1) when doing make install the file key_definition.dcl wasn't copied
to the dist-dir (didn't examine that, but I suppose you just forgot
to include that in the makefile)
Yes, you are right (grrr)...please add 'key_definition.dcl' to the DTV_CONF
variable in 'src/dtv/Makefile'.

'always diseqc', all went fine for me,
Hello,
where can I find the source code for gVideo. If I check out the driver
from cvs (www.linuxtv.org) there is a directory gVideo, but it just
contains two other directories. Nothing to compile ...

Hello to all,
I've read in a lot of mails about ac3dec
to stream ac3 data from vdr to the DSP device
to get the S/PDIF output working.
I have tested this with several versions of ac3dec
and a52dec written by Aaron. But in every case i get
only one result out of my SBLive!/DXR3 card.
