Does anyone know of any off-the-shelf Transport Stream Interface
cards for PCI that are supported under Linux? I need to roll-my-own
video server to record a TS stream directly off a commercial
C-band rack-mount receiver at our local PBS station.

I'm just trying to install my new HVR 4000 using Steven Toth's
multiproto patches on a 2.6.18 kernel (Suse 10.2). Looks pretty good
so far, however I'm missing the required firmware file. Is there
someone, who can help me with this problem? See the logs below:

I'd be happy if the analog part of that board worked in linux. Anyone
working on it? Any hints on what needs to be done?
