Hmmm... The firmware not found problem clearly suggest that the partition
containing the file it it's not mounted when the card is initialized. ¿Are
you sure that those modules are really compiled as modules and not included
embedded into the kernel?
The firmware files are usually contained in /l
Note - I cc'ed the dvb list in on this, as this is where this element of
the discussion really belongs, and also would like to open it up to that
wider audience.

Hello,
I got some problems with my AVerTV DVB USB 2.0 running under linux and
may be, someone here can give me a hint, how to solve the problem.
I'm using debian etch on my system and have all the DVB-Support
installed. I also installed the firmware file under /lib/firmware.
When I plug in the D

Ok, then I have no idea why you get this error first time. Try to post your
dmesg file, maybe it can help.

What's the status of stb0899 & stb6100 drivers? I just received my new TT
S-3200 card and would be more than happy to help, more in testing than
development as my experience in driver development is non-existent.

Hello Gregoire,
Not really...
It turned out that the problem is receiver card related.
Switching the LNB's also moved the problem to another switch-port.
So, the card had problems with just one single LNB's. When it switches
to that LNB, it cannot switch back to another LNB.
I have to power off
Hi,
¿Do you compile the driver for the card as a module? Make sure you do,
because that card needs the firmware to be loaded, and if the driver is
compiled inside the kernel (not as a module) then it initializes too early
(before file systems are mounted) and it won't find the firmware file.

Hi,
I downloaded the driver from http://kromtek.com/dvb/mantis.tar.bz2 and
have it built against 2.6.19.2 however I'm having a lot of problems.
When trying to drive the tuner the logs fill with:
