I've got the same setup here, and I've been fighting with mythtv for a while. I
never tried xine before Dick suggested it - it's way more solid, doesn't fall
over on bad data like myth does, and from its CPU usage, it seems to be using
the HW mpeg decoder on EPIA - so I'm quite tempted to use it
Any chance we could do a quick patch release with this change,
as I'm sure this will quickly become a FAQ otherwise.

Has anyone tried to get the AverMedia AverTV card to work? It's a half-height
PCI card which is nice for what I want (mini-itx), though I'm not sure if it's
supported by the linux-dvb driver.
If not I'll try to poke around and see what I can find out once I have some
spare time (Ha!)
