Getting G13 with a Skystar II 2.6, channels strong in Kaffeine
kernel 2.6.24, SuSe 10.1, Kaffeine 0.8.6, dvbtools 1.1.1
scan -c (while tuned to a channel) works fine. But :
-
/scan # ./scan - -a 0 -s 3 ./dvb-s/g13--cb
scanning ./dvb-s/g13--cb
using
Running SuSe 10.1, kernel 2.6.24-default, dvbtools 1.1.1, Kaffeine 0.8.6
I have 8 DVB-S lnbs on 2 diseqc switches running into 2 PCI cards,
Skystar 2 and Geniatech 103G, both of which are supported in the kernel.
The dishes, lnbs and cards are fine, work well in Windows and with
standalone
live only a couple of
miles from the Crystal Palace transmitter in South London.
Am I doing something, very basically, wrong? Sorry, but I'm not a great PC
user, I thought this product was plug and play.
Thanks for any help you can give.

that working yet though) but doesn't seem to work with VDR files.
Then someone told me about DVBVideoLAN but I can't access the
http://pulp.mine.nu/dvbcideolan server.
Thanks in advance,
