I have gotten around to testing the main HG tree about half an hour ago (as
opposed to just chris' branch) and it also works well here in Brisbane.

Please keep in mind that Chris Pascoe's "new" test branch was "new" many
months
ago. His repository is dated as two months ago, because at that point he
updated the repository with the changesets from the master branch.
Sorry I wasn't more timely - I finally built a new media centre over the
w
/lib/firmware.
Evidently, something is missing. I'd be great if someone could push me in
the right direction.

There's something funny going on with the DViCO dual digital.
I had another go at installing Chris's test branch and got the same
errors I have been getting for a while over a range of kernels and a
full re-install of FC5:

After failing to compile Chris’s test
DVB sources for the DViCO Dual Digital card for about a week on all sorts of
different kernels, the patches have made their way into the main dvb sources J And
they work!! Schweet! Thanks Chris!
