Steven,
What kernel are you using? I had this problem which seemed to resolve itself
when I changed kernels 2.6.16->2.6.17 IIRC. However, I never resolved the
tuning offset issues.
Cheers

Hi,
I was just wondering
whether there has been any progress with these chipsets (esp in UK usage). I've
been busy on another project for a while, but about 6 weeks ago I'd just got
around to connecting the dongle to a windows PC to sniff some USB data as the
QT1010 part was non-functional

I'm puzzled about
how to configure the kernel for this device. I have one of the old PCI Nova-T
cards with SAA7146 / TDA10046 devices.
When I configure my
kernel ( 2.6.16-gentoo-r7 ) I see that the section labelled Supported SAA7146
based PCI Adapters has three dashes '---' and is not sel

Hi,
I'm not sure if this
is the right place for this so I apologise in advance if it's not. I'm just
about to start working with a V4L driver and it occurs to me that my
understanding of the differences between a DVB driver and a v4l driver are hazy
at best. Therefore I'd appreciate a stee

I'm still struggling with this stick. I have now compiled
the modules for a second P4 based system (my primary requirement is on a Arm
based system) and see identical results. I
have also placed this device behing a powered USB hub and I still get "recv
bulk" errors (-71, -110, -75...) each

The firmware can come from a variety of places.
I wrote over the
weekend describing the problems I've been having with my Freecom stick (id
14aa:022b). I've made some progress but am still struggling with the
device.
Here's the dmesg
output

Hi,
I have a Freecom USB DVB-T stick. I have d/loaded the drivers from the
mercurial archive and compiled/installed the following drivers :- dvb-core,
dvb-usb, dvb-usb-dtt200u. All seems to be well, I grabbed the firmware file
'dvb-usb-wt220u-zl0353-01.fw' and the card lights up its LED. Howe

I have the same problem (or at least very similar). I'm fairly certain there's so

The current Technotrend drivers are at version 2.17 which is incompatible with the
1.1.1 linuxtv drivers.
I contacted Technotrend who were happy to send me the required (2.15a) driver file.
I've sent this by email to you directly.

I'm confused about which modules I need to load for for Nova-T (using kernel 2.4.25).
I'm also confused about which modules do what.
I have a number of queries and one error.
1. Once I've loaded the modules, what entries should I see in /dev/dvb/adapter0? I
currently see
