Hi!
After all the work I succeeded in using the DVB-s under Linux. My only
problem actually is that I can't listen nor record the second language:
why? The PIDs seem to be correct, I go to the main menu, press green but
nothing happens...

Hi!
Thanks to the hints givan by anybody! Now anything works gread apart a
couple of hints that seem to be in the DVB-s driver code. There seems to
be something that is not right with the CI detection: the driver simply
expects for the board to detect it, then send an IRQ to the PC to advise
of it
Hauppauge) and of motherboards and other Hardware around that.

Well, actually, in my case, I have a Seca CAM from Aston 1.05, and
everything worked QUITE well with older kernel, but with 0.9.x and 2.4
kernel I can't use anymore encryptede channels: I'd link to know WHO has
a 2.4 working environment with possibly a HardWare description with the
same CAM. I thi
Hi!
I'm interested in designing a platform that is surely working for use my
DVB-s card at maximum power... I hope that, even privately, who has this
stuff working well even on encrypted channels, would write me to
describe the HardWare configuration.
Thanks in advance, Massimiliano Pera
Hi!
Is there any guessable new for my problem? Should I reinstall the 2.2
kernel and v 0.8.1 driver?
I still can't see encrypted channels under Linux...
I tried even older releases of the driver with no result (outcommand
error)... What can I do?
Thanks, Massimiliano

Hi!
I'm trying to use the currend CVS release ov 0.9 driver vof DVB cards, I
have got a Hauppauge WinTV DVB-s, guess the new one, with an Aston Seca
CI, but don't know the version. I know this is not exactly the maximum
of the bug reports, but unluckly I can't test the infos missing from my
report
Hi! Some time ago I asked to the list if there's any poin of sale in
Europe where to buy a Seca CI that is not ASTON, but didn't receive any
answer: is that because ALL Seca users have Aston and there's nobody
else to sell Seca CIs or just that this is a professional secret?
