There is no PureVideo support in the NVidia Linux driver. yes, the same sad situation in Linux with the cards from ATI  (AVIVO technology). Also, there's not interlace PAFF support in MPlayer (ffmpeg). But you can  have a look on new Extension HD/PCI card from ReelMultimedia - with h264
