Since i read this postings i thought about DVB2000, same there, first a
wonderfull software.
Then more and more people coming in wanting to change the software to this
illigal things, and the end was mr. overdrive gives up depending on many
reasons.

You are all wondering why I removed my web site ?
That it because when I created it, I was not aware of the consequences of
developing a CAM in open source for the DVB-S.
If we have a working CAM, even if it needs a smartcard reader and an

Sometimes I doubt that the industry is even interested in a secure
platform. One the one hand, companies make big money selling insecure
encryption platforms (based on patents and trade secrets) and on the
other side crackers make money by selling cracked smart cards.
