Hi everybody,
As a co-president of the Linux High Availability and Clusters session for
Solutions Linux Paris 2006, I am looking for a french speaking guy to make a
talk of about 20mn about using FAI to deploy and maintain a cluster solution.
Feel free to contact me for further informations.

Hi everybody!
I have a problem with a new HP bl35p I try to install. It is a bi-opteron
with a dual broadcom card.
First of all, unexpectidely, the tg3 drivers for several 2.6 kernels (we
tried the one provided with fai64 and several others, stock or debian) did
not recognize the tg3 card. After

It definitely works weel on a HP
Hi all
Dono if this is the good list to solve this problem, but let's try. I'm on
the way using HP Altiris RDP and FAI to install my blades. It works great
with the bl20p and bl30p classes, but I have a problem with the bl10e ones.
Note that FAI installs well on those, but I can't monitore the ins
Hi all,
I don't know if this is the proper list to get help on fai-bootcd, anyway, I
give it a try.
To be sure that I am on topic, I have to say that I was able to use FAI to
deploy HP blade servers (20p and 30p series). I have a problem with the 10e
ones, I need to find boot options so that the

OK, ok, ok, shame on me. I just had to define it in DEFAULT.var. I didn't
feel very confident with it, don't know why...

Hi all,
Okay, I was finally able to boot this blade with FAI. The installation
process starts well, as far as I can tell. The last messages are :

Well, thanks to Thomas for his kind help. I have my FAI set up and running.
Now for the big deal. Here is the idea :
I have a bunch of HP blade servers with currently RHES 2.1 and Win2003... The
deployement server is a windows server using Altiris product. I can't put an
other PXE or DHCP/Bootp s
Hi all,
I'm just doing my first steps through FAI. My setup uses an apt-proxy instead
of a mirror. I think it should work. The install server is running woody. I
just installed the latest FAI for sarge clients (2.6.5).
When running fai-setup, it stops there:
